General Troubleshooting

In case of issues with controlling the game

  • Spread out your fingers for a moment. Move your hand around slowly. This helps detect your hand.
  • If you have long sleeves, pull them back a bit.
  • Your finger should be above the Leap Motion Controller.
  • Select Precision Tracking from the Leap Motion Controller settings.
  • Recalibrate the Leap Motion Controller.
  • Slow frame rate

  • Go to the Options menu and select a lower resolution.
  • Windows Troubleshooting

    Game crashes on startup

In rare cases, a faulty installation of Airspace can cause some apps, including Boom Ball, to crash on startup.

  • Uninstall the entire Airspace software (not just Boom Ball)
  • Reinstall Airspace
  • All of your purchased apps will be re-downloaded free of charge.
  • Game crashes on startup (two video cards)

If you have two different video cards (eg. an integrated Intel HD card and another dedicated card), use the following workaround:

  • Locate the Boom Ball executable by copying and pasting the following directory path to the file explorer location bar: %LOCALAPPDATA%\AirspaceApps\BoomBall\
  • You can also browse to the game's folder:
    • Boom Ball: C:\Users\YOUR_ACCOUNT_NAME\AppData\Local\AirspaceApps\BoomBall\
    • Boom Ball Adventures: C:\Users\YOUR_ACCOUNT_NAME\AppData\Local\AirspaceApps\BoomBallAdventures\
  • Right-click on Boom Ball_LM.exe and select "Run with graphics processor".
  • Choose your dedicated video card (not the Intel HD card).
